Weekend in PHX

This past week I was able to go home, get out of the heat and visit my family and friends in Arizona. I had planned on it being a surprise, but my dad wanted my car so I had to tell him that I was coming. I had also planned on being there over father's day weekend but I was sick that week so I went this past weekend. It was a lot of fun on Saturday I went tubing Salt River with a friend from Orderville who is now living in Tucson and about twenty people from his singles ward. It was crazy, we were probably the only people on the river not drunk. We mainly just hooked the tubes together, talked, and played catch with marshmallows.
After coming home my family went to see Evan Almighty-- it was a good movie with a good moral but I don't need to see it again. It is about a congressman who builds on ark; I think that it was supposed to be an environmental movie but it did not do a very good job at making that point if it was.
On Sunday, Alex, my little brother gave a talk in church. It was very good and I am proud of him. His talk was on personal Revelation-- if you asked him about it I am sure that he will tell all about it.
